The police say that a car swerved over into the lane his Daddy was driving in and smashed into them.

This is why I constantly say PAY ATTENTION TO THE SAFETY RULES WHEN YOU ARE DRIVING!!
This is why the car wreck where it didn't have a serious of injuries MATTERS!!
It matters because if we aren't going to enforce safety rules at all times for all car wrecks, then tragedies like this can happen!!
It could've been one of my kids in this car wreck that was a clear violation of the safety rules!!
It could've been your kid!!

And it wasn't just Darren that was injured.
His Mom and his brother was also hurt.
William Jaspard and Jessica Jaspard, his Mother, were also hurt in the car wreck.
That's why when I hear people say, "oh, it was just an accident" when the injuries aren't as severe as this one, it ticks me off.
It IS A BIG DEAL NO MATTER WHAT!!
Why?
Because if you say it doesn't matter if someone violates the safety rules because the injuries weren't as severe, then what do you say to the person that caused the wreck?
What you're saying is: we don't care that you violated the safety rules and caused the wreck, you can do it again.
And that next time, it just might be you in the wreck.
